(22) Truck Driver: Temporary, Full Time. Min 40 hrs./week, Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm variable. Min $30.83/hr. Some overtime hours may be available at $46.25/hr. Overtime applies after 40 hours worked per week. On state-funded projects in Minnesota, overtime is applied after 8 hours per day. Employer will use a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Employers will make all deductions from workers' paychecks as required by law. Employment period April 1, 2026, to November 15, 2026. Work will commence in Douglas County, MN; deliver loads to multiple locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Northeast Nebraska, and Northwest Iowa. All job sites are located within the area of intended employment. Employer will provide optional, free-of-charge transportation to worksites and lodging within close proximity to worksites (maximum 20 miles from worksites). Duties: Responsible to drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) transporting equipment and/or construction materials (asphalt, aggregate, millings, etc.) from the gravel pit to the job site. May be required to load or unload truck. Requires commercial drivers' license or ability to obtain once hired. Require: 12 months Truck Driving experience. No On-the-Job Training. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
