As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and manage access points to maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and vehicles at the location, following established procedures for financial institutions.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help identify and report any security-related concerns.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directing them in accordance with site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and unusual observations as required by site procedures.

Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as directed to address access control and security-related issues.

Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
