Description
Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Summary:
The WarehouseSupervisoris responsible forInventory Control, SAP Analytics, troubleshooting and implementation of Inventory Systems, and Warehouse Processes.Directs and coordinates warehouse activities of warehouse workers who receive, store, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products of thedistributionwarehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewsbillof lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities.
Manages the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
Plans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities with direction from safety management.
Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of sales, record control, production, andpurchasingdepartments.
Prepares or directs preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals.
Perform Inventory comparison between systems within SAP by ensuring the integrity of EWM and ERP systems.
Learn, train, and teach officestaffInventory Management and Shipping and Receiving processes. Continuously improve processes tomaintaina leading standard warehouse.
Allocate duties for efficient labor use.
Continuously build employees through cross training to increase department success.
Communicate flow of materials with Support Center. Report inventory levels. Work closely withMRPteam on any/all shipping and receiving issues.
Align daily operations to meet the standards of MRP, Customer Service,Trafficand Sales Teams.
Maintainaccurateinventories withinTrident.Assistin the management of inventories in multiple 3PL warehouses.
Support production. Allocate materials to production by maintaining FEFO, adhering to work order requests, and supplying production with the necessary Raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
Troubleshootserrors in the system. Research where errors occur. Implement processes to prevent recurrence.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Acquireknowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activitiesin accordance withtraining and procedures/work instructions.
Notify designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented,in accordance withEnvironmental Awarenessand orSafety training.
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of$33.65 to $43.27.
