3rd Shift Available

Job Summary The Fire Panel Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring the fire alarm control systems and dispatching the Fire Protection Officer (FPO) in response to any alerts. This role ensures timely communication, accurate logging, and coordination with emergency response teams to maintain site safety and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesFire Alarm Monitoring

Monitor fire alarm control panels 24/7.

Acknowledge and assess alarm @types: fault, pre-alarm, and fire.

Ensure seamless shift handovers and operational continuity.Alarm Dispatch & Communication

Immediately dispatch the Fire Protection Officer upon alarm activation.

Notify internal emergency contacts and site supervisors.

Maintain communication with fire teams and security personnel.

Log all communications and actions taken during incidents.System Support

Report faults or malfunctions in the fire panel system.

Assist with system resets and support technicians during testing or repairs.Recordkeeping

Maintain detailed logs of alarms, faults, and drills.

Record response times and actions taken.

Ensure logs are secure and audit-ready.Compliance

Follow fire codes and plant safety protocols.

Complete required training and stay current on system updates.

Maintain readiness for audits and inspections.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

Report any facility issues

Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload Strong attention to detail Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability. Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
