As a Security Officer - Armed Warehouse Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible throughout the premises, provide excellent customer service, and communicate with staff and visitors. Mon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.

Maintain a visible presence to assist customers, employees, and visitors as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and law enforcement personnel as required.

Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.

Follow all company protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
