Entry Level Administrative Assistant

Power-Flo Technologies is looking for you to join our Administrative Support team at our New Hyde Park location. You will impact the company's operations and organization through data entry while providing exceptional customer service to our customers, vendors, and visitors. You will work closely with our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales, and Operations departments.

Salary Range: $17 - $19/hour

Full-time, on-site role. Monday - Friday.

Every Day The Administrative Support Team:

Provide administrative support to the AR, AP, and Sales teams, including credit card processing, filing shipping documents, pulling invoices, vendor setup, and email management

Enter data for warehouse and counter sales operations

Greet visitors and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls as needed

Scan, print, and organize documents

Sort and distribute incoming mail, process outgoing mail and postage, and track packages

Make routine trips to the bank and post office

Manage Accounts Payable inbox and related correspondence

Perform additional administrative and office duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Role:

Eagerness to gain hands-on office experience

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multitask

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

Solid basic math skills

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Computer savvy with a willingness to learn proprietary software

Valid and clean driver's license for daily trips to the bank and post office using a company vehicle

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request)

Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time (with accommodations upon request)
