As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Commerce, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.

Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

Document all incidents and security-related activities according to company and client requirements.

Support emergency response efforts as directed, including evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
