Description We are looking for a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently within a medical setting.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a detail-oriented manner and provide assistance as needed.

Manage scheduling and appointment coordination to ensure smooth patient flow.

Maintain and update patient medical records accurately and securely.

Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.

Process documentation, including insurance forms and referrals, with precision.

Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare and edit correspondence and other documents.

Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and welcoming.

Collaborate with medical staff to support daily operations and administrative needs.

Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations.

Assist in resolving minor patient concerns or direct them to the appropriate personnel. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other basic computer applications.

Experience managing medical records and familiarity with healthcare documentation.

Proven ability to perform receptionist duties in a detail-oriented setting.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.

Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus. TalentMatch®
