Pay: Weekly: starting pay at $17/hr

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) w/ American Sign Language (ASL) to join the team in Morganton, NC, working for a specific client. BAYADA's special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

One year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program)

Ability to communicate using ASL (Fluent in ASL is preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent

How You'll Make an Impact:

Provide personal care assistance with daily hygiene (bathing, dressing, etc.)

Accompany clients on errands and appointments

Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities

Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

Participate in community integration activities

Compensation & Schedule:

Competitive pay rates starting at $17 with a weekly pay schedule

Flexible scheduling (part-time, and various shifts)

Must be located in NC
