Lapka & Sons LLC, located at 394 Hidden Valley Rd, Bozeman, MT 59723, (406) 241-4103, is seeking 4 temporary full-time Construction Laborers to work at 75 Airport Rd, Twin Bridges, MT 59754 and Multiple Cities and Towns in Madison County - Southwest Montana nonmetropolitan area from 04/01/26 to 12/31/26 to carry lumber and tools, set wood frames under the direction of a supervisor, and strip and clean the forms. Place wall layouts and install plumbing and custom wood applications. Use shovels, hammers, saws, wheelbarrows, mixers, brooms, buckets, drills and measuring tapes for this work. Carry the flooring and tools. Cut and hand the flooring to craft workers. Cut and fasten wood using hammers, measuring tapes, drills, skill saws, pneumatic nailers and staplers under the supervision of a lead framer. Carry and mix the paint using buckets and wood mixers. Apply primer to rough areas using brushes and rollers. Cleaning up the construction site using cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, buckets, wheelbarrows and industrial vacuums. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yards. Proper and accurate use of tape measure is required. Will be exposed to heights, temperature extremes, strenuous physical activity and repetitive motions.Three months of construction experience required. Will travel to worksites within the area of intended employment. No prior education is required. On the job training will be provided.$29.15/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, from Monday to Saturday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage based on experience and/or merit. $43.725/hr. for overtime. All deductions from the worker's paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay bi-weekly by check. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. The employer will provide housing as an option to employees living outside the regular commuting distance. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $225.00 deducted per bi-weekly paycheck for rent and utilities. Optional daily transportation will be provided from and to the worksite and the employer will deduct $20.00.In the first workweek, the cost of transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be directly reimbursed to every worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least $16.28/day to a maximum of $68.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
