As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. This position also requires driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.

Observe and report security-related irregularities, such as suspicious activities or unauthorized individuals on the premises.

Assist in controlling access to the facility by monitoring entrances and exits as assigned.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues and concerns.

Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols for incidents within the location.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
