Administrative Receptionist

Essential Job Functions:

Professionally administer all incoming calls Ensures phone calls are redirected accordingly

Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner

Prepares office correspondence accurately and neatly, assists with a variety of paperwork for office

Assists with sales orders, billing and receiving

Weighs and directs incoming trucks

Fills in for other office personnel as needed

Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Job Requirements: Education and Experience:

High School graduate

Previous clerical or administrative experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite

Skills:

Customer service---manages difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance and meets commitments.

Planning/organizing---prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.

Quality management ---looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance.

Quantity---meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.

Adaptability---adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.

Dependability--- Able to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Competent in use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP software (Sage preferred)

Safety and security---observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.

Equipment To Be Used:

Computer, fax machine, copier

Typical Physical Demands:

Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift carry, push, and/or pull to moderate amounts of weight

Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination

Typical Mental Demands:

Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Ability to master basic math

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Operating Principles: Employees are expected to work in a manner consistent with Golden Barrel Products & Zook Ag Operating Principles: specifically work and act as a team player in all interactions with other company employee's; provide a high level of customer service at all times; project and maintain a positive image with those contacted in the course of work; develop and maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships with co-workers and others; consistently provide quality service.

Working Environment:

Standard workday 7 -- 3:30 Monday through Friday and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position.

Offered compensation:

$17/hr - $21/hr
