Reference #: 5179958 THE POSITION The Department of Human Services, Wernersville State Hospital is looking for dedicated individuals to work in our facility. We are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic, and compassionate person to join our team as a Clerical Assistant 2!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will be responsible and accountable for providing critical clerical support services to Nursing Administration within required timeframes in order to facilitate timely information to patients, employees and supervisors. You will provide outreach between the Central Office and the Nursing unit to ensure continuous flow of timely and consistent information, direction and work accomplishment.

Work hours and additional information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week. Work hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. Overtime as needed

Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
