We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our organization. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and employees while ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

Answer, screen, and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.

Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.

Handle inquiries and resolve basic issues or direct them to the appropriate person.

Essential Skills

Front desk and customer service experience.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree or previous experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based in a longtime partner food manufacturing facility. The work environment is professional and welcoming, requiring attire suitable for client interaction. The Receptionist will work with standard office equipment and software to support daily operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
