Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Director of the Neuro/Ortho and according to hospital policies and procedures, the Neuro Navigatorfacilitatesa timely, integrated and coordinated approach to the care of orthopedic patients.Uses a multi-disciplinary approach and acts as a liaison between the patient, staff and referring physician offices as well as ancillary areas of the hospital system.Identifieslearning needs and the content for educational programs. Develops, presents,coordinatesandevaluateeducation activities. Effectively performs in the role of clinician, facilitator, advocate, consultant and / or researcher.
What qualifications you will need:
Required:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. FT/PT/PRN colleagues with a compact license from a state other than Texas must:
apply for a Texas RN license within 60 days from hire
obtain current Texas RN license within 6 months of application for Texas RN license Required upon hire Required within 90 days Required within 6 months Required: See above
