Immediate Hirring For Warehouse Worker - 2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will play a crucial role in managing container and racking systems. This position involves working in both the East Moline and Davenport locations, handling a mixture of racks and totes. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of incoming containers and racks, preparing them for further use.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate shipment of containers.

Work in process lanes to remove manufacturer tags and use a hand-scanner for incoming totes and racks.

Manage the washing machine operations by loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning totes.

Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers.

Stand for the entirety of the shift, with breaks provided.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.

Proficiency in operating a forklift, including the ability to pass a forklift test.

Experience with inventory management and RF scanning.

Work Environment

This role requires standing for long periods and involves significant physical activity. The work environment is fast-paced, and employees are expected to handle equipment such as forklifts and hand-scanners. Breaks are provided, and the dress code is casual, reflecting the active nature of the work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
