As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Team in Schodack Landing, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail distribution environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials of employees, vendors, and visitors as needed.

Support emergency response activities as directed, following all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Maintain clear and accurate documentation of observations, incidents, and patrol activities during each shift.

Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
