Position Overview: The CAMA Lead Machine Operator oversees daily machine operations, ensures production schedules are met, and maintains a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires advanced machine operation skills, leadership abilities, and a strong focus on quality control and continuous improvement. The CAMA Lead Machine Operator acts as the primary point of contact between production staff and Supervisor or Coordinator. Responsibilities: Operate, set up, and maintain production machinery according to established standards and procedures. Lead and train machine operators, providing guidance, support, and coaching on best practices. Monitor production lines to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met. Troubleshoot machine issues, perform minor repairs, and coordinate maintenance when necessary. Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage through Red Zone and ERP system. Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production or product issues. Assist in scheduling and delegating tasks to team members to meet daily/weekly production targets. Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Serve as a role model for teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.
