In the role of Senior Accounting Assistant, we'll count on you to:Responsibilities:- Perform accounts payable functions in accordance with HDR's procedures.- Process vendor invoices and submit to the corporate finance and accounting team.- Prepare and manage financial aspects of seminars, conferences, and events (both internal and external).- Assist with the review and approval of employee timesheets in compliance with HDR timekeeping policies and procedures.- Review and accurately code area Purchase Card transactions in compliance with company guidelines.- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to current policies, while maintaining the ability to adapt quickly to changes in procedures and policy updates.- Respond to employee inquiries regarding office-related purchases.Required Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent- A minimum of 5 years of experience- Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook- Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented- Ability to handle confidential information- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting- Preference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent- A minimum of 5 years of experience- Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook- Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented- Ability to handle confidential information- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
