As a Security Officer - Active Clearance Desk in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor activity, incidents, and other relevant information as required by site procedures.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay information and/or escalate issues as needed.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting with coordination and communication from the front desk.

Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
