? Location: 1323 Proctor Street, Knoxville, TN 37921

? Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

? Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Occasional Fridays (typically half-day)

? Work Environment: Industrial recycling & materials recovery

?? What's a typical day as a Sorter/Packer III? You will:

Manually sort recyclable materials along a fast-moving sort line into designated bunkers by grade and @type.

Accurately identify paper, cardboard, and other recyclable materials.

Perform daily housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of the work area and sort line components.

Conduct equipment inspections and complete required documentation.

Clean radiators, filters, drums, and other line components.

Remove hazardous or prohibited materials such as batteries, needles, and metals.

Participate in safety programs and follow all health & safety procedures.

Submit maintenance requests and report equipment issues promptly.

? This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to sort materials at line speed.

Physical endurance to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent light lifts throughout the shift.

High awareness of safety practices and PPE compliance.

Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

? Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:

Hard hat

Safety glasses

Steel-toe shoes

High-visibility torso clothing

Hearing protection

HexArmor arm guards and gloves
