As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This role requires both driving and armed responsibilities. You will maintain a visible presence, provide outstanding customer service, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points, verify identification, and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with location protocols.

Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports.

Work closely with site personnel and/or visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Remain alert and attentive to unusual activities or circumstances that may require further investigation or intervention.

Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols for armed personnel, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and training requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III armed certification in Texas is required.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
