As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence at a government location. This role requires driving and carrying a firearm as you respond to incidents and interact with the public, all while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Monitor for unusual activity or unauthorized individuals and report findings according to established protocols.

Interact with visitors, staff, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while enforcing site access policies.

Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or concerns to the appropriate personnel and through required reporting systems.

Follow all site and Allied Universal procedures regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.

At least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
