DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be tasked with entering payroll data, correcting payroll discrepancies, and managing employee schedule changes. Additionally, your responsibilities will include reconciling purchasing card accounts payable, maintaining bookkeeping for patient non-appropriated accounts, overseeing fixed asset inventory, and billing for sewer services rendered. A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, along with knowledge of purchase orders and purchasing contracts, is crucial for this role. You will also be required to maintain both a database and a written ledger for fixed assets, as well as prepare spreadsheets that contribute to the annual Cost Apportionment and Medicare Cost Reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. Overtime and travel required as needed Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
