As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, managing access points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Tue04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and/or identification of employees, visitors, and vendors.

Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.

Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and the movement of goods and personnel within the logistics and distribution environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and identify any irregularities.

Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and observations according to company and client protocols.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
