Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Tax Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing payroll tax operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with payroll specialists and utilize your expertise in payroll systems and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Address and resolve tax notices by coordinating with relevant organizations.

Ensure payroll tax operations align with company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with senior payroll specialists to resolve complex payroll issues.

Prepare and review multi-state payroll tax reports to ensure accuracy.

Monitor payroll tax compliance across different jurisdictions.

Support payroll processes by maintaining detailed records and ensuring timely submissions.

Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll tax management and reporting.

Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel functions to identify discrepancies and improve processes.

Provide guidance and assistance to team members on payroll tax-related queries.

Requirements - Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and reporting.

Extensive experience with multi-state payroll operations.

Strong understanding of payroll tax reporting and compliance.

Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience in addressing and resolving payroll tax notices.
