Description

The Human Resources Generalist supports and administers a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role partners with leadership and staff to ensure effective HR operations and a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain employee records

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures

Administer benefits, leave programs, and payroll coordination

Support employee relations matters, including documentation and investigations

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain HRIS systems and ensure accurate and confidential data management

Assist with performance management, training, and employee development initiatives

Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts

Prepare HR reports and assist with audits as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role

Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

High level of discretion and professionalism

Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, or UKG) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
