Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time contract basis in Beaverton, Oregon. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to manage multiple entities efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

Generate and analyze standard financial reports, including general ledger (GL) and profit and loss (P& L) statements for the year.

Manage weekly transactions, such as monitoring expenses for software licenses.

Prepare and issue 1099 forms accurately and on time.

Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable inboxes, ensuring items are directed appropriately.

Collaborate with vendors to finalize contracts and resolve any outstanding issues.

Handle refund requests and ensure proper documentation.

Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Process minimal credit card transactions and ensure accuracy.

Manage bookkeeping for six entities, including two with property assets.

Assist in closing out companies as needed.

Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial data.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Demonstrated ability to reconcile bank accounts accurately.

Familiarity with preparing and issuing 1099 forms.

Experience working with multiple entities and property-related transactions.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
