As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will remain visible throughout the site, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting access control needs. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for customers and staff.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities.

Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location.

Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors within the retail or mall environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
