Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting organizational growth. Located in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, this role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and excel at managing detailed financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and reconciled.

Oversee financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data.

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve processes.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Train and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management with a focus on month-end close processes.

Extensive knowledge of general ledger operations and financial reporting.

Familiarity with conducting and supporting financial statement audits.

Strong expertise in account reconciliation and journal entries.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
