Description

We are looking for experienced Accounts Payable Specialists for our active clients in Danvers, MA. These long-term opportunities will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments. These opportunities offer a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and process invoices, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.

Manage accounts payable operations, including ACH transactions and check runs.

Review and verify invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Maintain organized records of payments and invoices to support audits and reporting.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.

Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors while adhering to payment schedules.

Assist in month-end close procedures by preparing relevant accounts payable documentation.

Monitor and reconcile accounts payable balances to maintain accuracy in financial records.

Implement and maintain efficient workflows for invoice processing and payment approvals.

Stay informed about industry best practices and compliance requirements related to accounts payable.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding and processing.

Familiarity with ACH transactions and check run procedures.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Knowledge of accounts payable compliance and best practices.

High level of accuracy and problem-solving abilities.
