SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Attend either an eight (8) week Front End Training Program or a six (6) month on-the-job training program, in order to successfully obtain the MOA Certification. Responsible to the Office Manager for providing front office support.

The Medical Office Associate role is an entry-level admin role where one can learn and grow their career in the healthcare field. The individual will check in and check out patients, verify insurance information, answer the office phones, schedule appointments, and much more! Family and Community Medicine - Park Avenue is a dynamic and fast-paced outpatient clinic located in the heart of State College, PA, just one mile from Beaver Stadium and close to the vibrant Penn State University community. As the only Penn State Health clinic exclusively serving Family Medicine patients, we are proud to be a vital training site for our Family Medicine Residents, who provide the majority of patient care under the supervision of dedicated faculty. We see an average of 80 patients per day, offering a diverse and ever-changing clinical environment ideal for individuals who thrive on variety and teamwork. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School Diploma or equivalent required
