Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team, with a primary focus on complex intercompany transactions, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a long term contract position, with the opportunity to go full time hire in later 2026. Onsite is required for the first 3 months and then hybrid thereafter.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and reconcile heavy intercompany transactions across multiple business units

Maintain, analyze, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger accounts

Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Perform account analysis, variance explanations, and resolve discrepancies

Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to resolve accounting issues

Assist in SOX/internal audit activities, as needed

Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for accounting efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, including significant work with intercompany transactions

Advanced understanding of general ledger systems, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

Strong proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Excel

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

CPA or other relevant certification is a plus, but not required
