Duties may include: Operate a variety of farm equipment to perform a variety of crop raising duties such as but not limited to: tractors, trucks, combines, grain cart. Field ready implements and equipment. Apply fertilizer. Harvest crops. Plant, cultivate crops using tractor drawn machinery. Operate, repair farm implements, and other tasks as needed. 1 hour lunch break. Benefits offered: cell phone. Crops: spring wheat, canola, yellow peas, lentils & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
The following deductions that are mandatory will be made from each paycheck: All applicable Federal and State taxes that are required to be deducted from U.S. workers and/or foreign workers. Federal Income Tax Withholding will only be deducted from H-2A employee's paycheck with the consent of both the employee and the employer. In the case that an H-2A employee does not provide a Social Security Number or an IRS issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Number AND the total annual wages for the employee are over $600, the employer must deduct backup withholding of 24% from each paycheck.
