Our client, a leading academic institution in New York, is seeking a P/T Administrative Assistant to join their team. As a P/T Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the department supporting faculty and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: P/T Administrative Assistant-3 days

Location: New York, New York

Pay Range: $25-30

What's the Job?

Support faculty by managing high-volume email correspondence and in-person requests

Coordinate weekly Journal Club meetings, seminars, and large-scale events including Graduation ceremonies

Manage complex calendars and schedule meetings across various stakeholder groups

Handle end-to-end travel bookings and hospitality arrangements for visiting guests

Follow and document departmental procedures with high attention to detail

Proven experience supporting multiple stakeholders simultaneously

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly

Strong organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines

Attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics
