Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) has opportunities for psychiatrists to join our team to provide quality care as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. Our psychiatrists work with individuals who have been admitted to our programs from different @types of referral sources, which include, jails, hospitals, and community settings to provide treatment alongside other psychiatric and primary care practitioners, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other mental health professionals. Minimum Qualifications
Positions will be hired at the level in which the selected candidate meets the qualifications. These positions are open to experienced psychiatrists as well as graduating fellows.
Psychiatrist 1:
Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota
Board Certified Psychiatrist (or board eligible)
Psychiatrist 2:
Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota
Board Certified Psychiatrist (or board eligible)
Completion of a fellowship program preferably in Forensic Psychiatry however, other sub-specialties will be considered
Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist:
Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice Medicine in the State of Minnesota
Board Certified Psychiatrist (or board eligible)
Completion of a fellowship program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Preferred Qualifications
Adult inpatient psychiatry experience
Experience working in an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric setting
Leadership and supervisory experience
Interest in Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses (SPMIs) Psychiatry
