Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machines and related equipment. This role ensures optimal machine performance, minimizes downtime, and supports production efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Shift:

6:45 am - 3:15 pm - Monday through Friday

$35-40/hr - based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on CNC machinery.

Inspect and replace worn or damaged components such as bearings, belts, spindles, and ball screws.

Work with PLCs, servo drives, and VFDs to resolve control and automation problems.

Calibrate and align machine components to maintain precision and accuracy.

Maintain detailed maintenance logs and update service records in the CMMS system.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.

Hands-on experience maintaining CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, etc.).

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.

Familiarity with PLCs, CNC controls, and basic programming adjustments.

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
