The Benefit Service Center (BSC-Call Center) is seeking a member to join our incredible management team.

The BSC is a unique and hard-working collaborative team that strives to provide accurate benefits with the best customer experience. The Call Center determines eligibility for Vermonters by State and Federally funded programs using multiple platforms with a variety of call center technology. This supervisor provides direct supervision in a hybrid environment to Benefit Program Specialists, Senior Benefit Program Specialists and supports program eligibility. In addition, a supervisor is expected to complete performance evaluations, address performance issues, while mentoring, training, and encouraging professional growth and accomplishments.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting within a district office. Some travel may be necessary, for which private transportation must be available. Stressful interaction with upset or emotional clients may occur. Staff workload may frequently be heavy.
