Location: Lisle, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Assignment Dates: January 14, 2025 - February 2, 2025

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk & Administrative Support Specialist to join our team on a short-term basis. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily operations at our Americas Headquarters. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage office activities, and assist with administrative tasks to support colleagues and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Guest Services:

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff.

Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate colleagues.

Office & Administrative Support:

Order, receive, and distribute office supplies.

Organize and coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements and catering.

Sort and distribute incoming mail; manage express mail services.

Assist with event planning and logistics.

Facilities & Vendor Coordination:

Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of office equipment (copiers, printers, postage machine, etc.).

Coordinate facility services such as plant care, minor repairs, and first aid supplies.

Additional Duties:

Liaise with building management and obtain security badges for new employees.

Schedule company vehicle use and assign reserved parking spots.

Order gifts, awards, and flowers as needed.

Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in administrative or front desk roles preferred.s.
