It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - OC/DISA GLOBAL OPERATIONS COMMAND. Responsibilities Developing and implementing project plans; coordinating and integrating project activities; managing project resources; participating in project reviews; and taking corrective actions. Establishing and executing stakeholders' communication strategy. Producing analysis of information received from stakeholder engagements Planning, organizing, directing, and conducting studies, analyses and evaluations of plans, programs, projects, networks, policies, and procedures, to develop the basis for institutionalizing NetOps telecommunication networks and computer systems. Provides advice and guidance to managers, technical specialists, networking systems planners, acquisition personnel, and user organizations on systems and network management technology (e.g., satellite, voice, data, and video networking). To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience providing Information Technology (IT) project management such as assisting in planning and designing projects, coordinating and monitoring projects or implementing project management plans and programs as well as estimating program costs. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.
