Truck Driver

Join our dynamic Production Operations team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials between facilities.

This is an 100% onsite position in Edgewood, NY (Long Island)

Job Specifics:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM w/benefits

Compensation: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour + Annual Bonus

Responsibilities:

Manage equipment and trailers in the yard.

Move trailers in and out of bays.

Ensure steady flow of material between facilities, meeting SLAs.

Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules.

Assist logistics with trailer moves.

Move equipment between warehouses.

Off-load trailers and scan material.

Remove and replace recycle trailers.

Maintain yard horses and ensure they are fueled.

Load broken equipment into trailers.

Train new drivers.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

2-3 years of experience in a fulfillment operation or related environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Proficient in English (Spanish communication skills a plus).

3+ years of commercial driving experience.

Valid certified Forklift or Power Jack License.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Valid CDL required.
