As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring freight moves efficiently and accurately. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with heavy lifting, alongside a management team experienced in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:

Assist with shipping and receiving: unload trucks, check merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute orders for processing.

Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to move, gather, distribute, and/or ship.

Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse for employees and customers.

Complete all tasks in compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

Handle driver check calls, validate load data before marking deliveries for accounting purposes.

Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring loads arrive on time and in good condition.

Candidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lbs and load/unload trucks.

Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Comfortable working in a high-paced environment and adhering to safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.

Experience loading/unloading trailers.

Familiarity with handheld scanners.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
