Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Coordinator to join our team in Houston. TX. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions, including accounts payable and invoice processing, while providing administrative support in a dynamic work environment. The role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely invoice handling.

Manage rebilling processes related to property services.

Accurately code and process received invoices.

Provide administrative support through filing and documentation.

Answer phone calls and address inquiries professionally while covering front desk duties.

Handle a high volume of invoices while maintaining precision and attention to detail.

Support general accounting tasks, including data entry and reporting.

Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting tasks.

Requirements - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

High school diploma or equivalent education.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external contacts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with basic computer functions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
