Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee the growth and innovation of our Above Grade Waterproofing portfolio, including liquid waterproofing and air barrier solutions, within the broader Building Envelope business. The position exists to align market insights, technical expertise, and business strategy through strong cross-functional collaboration and disciplined product development-ultimately driving profitability, accelerating innovation, and strengthening CertainTeed & GCP's leadership in the building envelope industry.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, market awareness, and leadership capability to deliver sustainable, long-term growth.
Essential Functions:
Lead the strategy and lifecycle management of the Above Grade Waterproofing product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
Drive innovation and new product development through cross-functional collaboration and disciplined Stage-Gate processes.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert, supporting product compliance, performance standards, training, and sales enablement.
Leverage market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform product positioning, pricing, and growth strategies.
Partner with Marketing and Supply Chain to support effective product positioning, demand planning, inventory management, and commercialization.
Provide regular executive updates and strategic recommendations to ensure prioritization, visibility, and timely execution.

3-5 years of product management experience, ideally with a track record of delivering results in complex, deadline-driven environments.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, influence, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Analytical and curious mindset - naturally eager to dig into data, uncover insights, and solve problems creatively.
Digitally fluent communicator - confident using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Copilot) to craft compelling presentations, manage data, and collaborate seamlessly across teams.
Comfortable in a technical environment, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
Experience in commercial roofing, building materials, or the broader building envelope industry is a strong plus.
Success navigating large, matrixed organizations and influencing across functions is preferred.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,200 to $155,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.-
