Patient Scheduler

Job Description

The Patient Scheduler will join a team of six and play a key role in coordinating and scheduling appointments for assigned physicians. Responsibilities include managing patient records, providing administrative support to providers, and utilizing a ticketing system to handle rescheduling requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and flexibility to travel between two facilities as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience scheduling for physicians with multiple locations; preferably Diagnostic or surgery scheduling experience

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer service-oriented with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Needs to have a "Can Do"/positive attitude

Bilingual in Spanish - Scheduling for an Imaging Center or Surgery Center

Additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.

Proficiency in Athena EMR system and scheduling software is HUGE
