As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication with visitors and staff. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.

Assist visitors and employees with directions, information, and general inquiries as needed.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
