As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Specialist in Santa Fe Springs, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong, visible presence. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, acting as a helpful point of contact for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter security-related concerns and identify irregularities.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Assist with truck and vehicle access control, including checking manifests and verifying shipments as required by site procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
