A Brief Overview

Accountable for providing effective customer service to patients, vendors, insurance companies and other medical facilities.

What you will do

Answering phone to respond to all inquiries made by patients, vendors, insurance companies and other medical facilities.

Schedule patient appointments as required via telephone calls and written notification to patients.

Screening and routing patient calls to other departments efficiently, ensuring accurate registration.

Responding to patient's questions and needs for editing, canceling and re-scheduling appointment as necessary.

Support and maintain a professional business atmosphere.

The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

Technical Certificate One-year certificate from business program or technical school or combination of education and experience

Less than 1 year in customer service, call center or medical healthcare setting
