As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Shift in Ankeny, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to customer service and strong communication fosters a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
