Shipping Warehouse Associate Job Summary: **Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Meet or exceed customer expectations by contributing to a positive customer experience.

Learn and navigate the warehouse/yard layout, bin location system, and product Etna stocks.

Handle all materials, products, and equipment with care to prevent damage.

Accurately gather and assemble materials for shipment or counter pick-up.

Verify work to prevent shipping and inventory errors.

Clearly mark all outgoing products with the customer's name and carton count.

Operate powered industrial equipment safely and responsibly.

Properly stage all completed orders in designated shipping areas.

Assist with general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehouse and yard.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of plumbing and/or waterworks products with a strong understanding of product applications.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and stress management skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting easily to changing situations.

Proficient computer skills; experience with Eclipse software is a plus.

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Education and/or Experience:**

High school diploma; or

Six months warehouse experience; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequently required to talk, hear walk, sit, stand, push, pull, carry, grasp, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach; and lift 50 lbs occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs.

Must be able to fulfill the essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more, depth perception, and color vision.

Work performed mostly inside but do have to go outside at times with possible exposure to extreme weather.
